Product Description:
The Near Real Time (NRT) Level 2 MODIS cloud mask product MOD35_L2 consists of global cloud mask quality assurance and other ancillary parameters. The visible and infrared threshold and consistency tests are used to specify confidence levels that an unobstructed view of the Earths surface is observed. An indication of shadows affecting the scene is also provided. MOD35_L2 parameters are produced at spatial resolution of 1km and 250m at nadir. Including ancillary parameters this product consists of 9 parameters.
