Product Description:
The Level 2 MODIS cloud mask product, MYD35_L2, consists of global cloud mask, quality assurance, and other ancillary parameters. The visible and infrared threshold and consistency tests are used to specify confidence levels that an unobstructed view of the Earth's surface is observed. An indication of shadows affecting the scene is also provided. MYD35_L2 parameters are produced at spatial resolution of 1-km and 250-m at nadir. Including ancillary parameters, this product consists of 9 parameters.
