| Abstract | New version of PGE510 was delivered with the following changes: 1. Code revison to fix the interpolation of noisy detector in band I3 for J1/N20. |
| Problem Statement | The PGE510 V2.0.1 that had issues with incorrect identification of all inland water bodies, was being used for J1 in NRT for generation of 375m active fire as the V2.0.2 that had the fix for inland water bodies failed to interpolate for the noisy detector from band I3 in J1. |
| Description of Change | This new version of PGE510 V2.0.3 resolves the error associated with the interpolation over the band I3 noisy detector for J1/N20. |

| Data Granules to be Used for Science Testing | Science tests have been carried out for both S-NPP and J1, using PGE510 (V2.0.3) and all results have been assessed by LDOPE and communicated to the science team. |
| Justification | The J1 375m active fire code in NRT was still running an older version of PGE510 that showed less proportion of inland water bodies. The PGE510 V2.0.2 that was supposed to fix this, could not be used for J1 as it failed to interpolate over the noisy detector in J1 Band I3. |
| Effective Date for Implementation of Change | PGE510 V2.0.3 was put in nrt3/4 for J1 and S-NPP on 02/24/2020. |
