| Abstract | To implement the new version of PGE21N (v5.0.12) on NRT1/2. |
| Problem Statement | The “LANCE Enhancement Request – Daily rolling NDVI product” initially asked “to generate and distribute a near real-time 8-day rolling NDVI product to support the dust modeling, weather forecasting and agricultural monitoring communities.” Later in Sept 2013, the request was updated to ask for Terra 8-day rolling LSR (MOD09A1 and MOD09Q1) products. MODAPS implements C5 PGE21N specifically for LANCE to generate near-real-time Terra 8-day rolling LSR data (MOD09A1N and MOD09Q1N) for LANCE community. PGE21N has been running on nrt2 system since Sept 2013, and the test data has been verified by the GLAM (Global Agricultural Monitoring) in Oct 2013. |
