| Abstract | PGE01 6.1.10 Updated Long Term Trend in Geolocation LUTs for Terra and Aqua through 2027-02-01. |
| Problem Statement | Updates to extend MODIS pointing correction from 07/05/2024 to 02/01/2027 in geolocation parameter look-up tables (LUTs). The extension corrects for geolocation biases of about 40 m for Terra MODIS and about 30 m for Aqua MODIS in C61 forward-processing data streams. There is no code change. |
| Description of Change | Regular periodic updates of geolocation LUTs to maintain geolocation performance. These updates use geolocation residuals in the last few years to predict MODIS pointing corrects for the next two and half (2.5) years (end of mission this time). There is no code change. |
