| Abstract | PGE16 v5.7.0. Update the code to record and retrieve the date and year of the UPD file as byte data in place of 4-bit word used in the prior version. |
| Problem Statement | The MOD11B1 process failed to locate and load the daily UPD files and hence couldn't retrieve LST for data days 2016001 and onwards. The product contained fill values for all pixels. |
| Description of Change | The needed UPD files could not be located since the file naming convention used only 4-bit binary for identifying the least significant two digits of the year for years after 2015. Filename format is corrected and byte data is used to read the year number. |
