| Problem Statement | Needed the PGE to generate the coarse resolution version of MOD09Q1, 250 m resolution 8-day composite reflectance product for use by LDOPE to generate the global browse image of the product. |

| Justification | Coarse resolution version of the full resolution products are required to make the global browses used in synoptic QA of the product at LDOPE. Generating coarse resolution product would minimize the network bandwidth required to export the data to LDOPE as opposed to exporting the full resolution version. |
