| Problem Statement | Occurrence of occasional small areas of unusually high surface temperatures in MOD11 products. |
| Description of Change | This problem is caused by the procedure for empirical optical-leak correction for Terra MODIS band 32 and the problem was traced to L2 granules, where there are valid LSTs only at the end of the scan lines. Minor refinements made to mod11_lst2A1.c to fix the problem. |
