| Description of Change | Apply standard composition scheme (used in Terra 8-day product) to generate 4-day (MCD15A3) and 8-day (MCD15A2) Combined Terra/Aqua products from corresponding 4 and 8 Terra and Aqua daily retrievals. |

| Justification | Combined 8-day product have about 10-15% improvement in coverage of high quality retrievals over woody vegetation compared to single sensor 8-day product. Combined 4-day product double temporal resolution compared to other products, the feature requested by users in ecological and climate applications. |
