| Abstract | Fix to correct setting of reflectance values over water. |
| Problem Statement | In patches of pixels over water (oceans, inland water, shorelines), some bands have data that is artificially set to the maximum (or minimum) allowable value. This is because the wrong aerosol retrieval model was used over water, resulting in bad retrieved aerosol values over water. |
| Description of Change | A change of the model used for aerosol retrieval over water; bounds checking placed upon angstrom exponent values and retrieved aerosol values in the aerosol retrieval algorithm over water; addition of two SDSs, one containing angstrom exponent values, the other with aerosol model values, to the coarseresolution MOD09CRS product. |
