| Abstract | PGE536 2.0.6, PGE617 2.0.5, PGE657 2.0.3 PGE536/GPP v2.0.6 and PGE617/Evapotrans v2.0.5 to be used in reprocessing JPSS2 from 2023/001 to leading edge, which is to end of 2025. The initial runs will be for the gap-filled variations and will include running the JPSS2 version of PGE657/GF LAI/FPAR, version 2.0.3. For data beyond end of 2025, the non-gap filled versions will be used. |
| Problem Statement | Initial version of VIIRS JPSS2 GPP and Evapotranspiration PGEs, PGE536 and PGE617, for use in the JPSS2 Collection 2 reprocessing. Versions of each align with those in use for JPSS1 and SNPP. |

| Data Granules to be Used for Science Testing | Science testing was conducted using JPSS2 variations of PGE657, PGE536 and PGE617. The datasets were reviewed by LDOPE and the science team. Sample gap-filled outputs were shared with LP DAAC for review and approved. Note that only the gap-filled variations of PGE536 and PGE617 were tested, and the non-gap-filled need to be tested and samples shared with LP DAAC prior to those datasets being generated and sent to LP DAAC. |

| Effective Date for Implementation of Change | PGEs to be used for generating Gap-Filled datasets for JPSS2 from BOM through end of 2025 starting production 4/8/2026. These same PGEs will be used for leading edge production of non-Gap-Filled datasets for 2026 data, which will begin once the gap-filled products have been completed. |
