| Abstract | PGE662N 2.0.0, PGE655N 2.0.0, PGE670N 2.0.0, PGE559N 2.0.2, PGE632 2.0.3-5 Official C2 versions of VIIRS Flood Map PGEs were created for use in the NRT system. The Flood Map is designed so that the final process/products are combined JPSS1 and JPSS2 products, with all upstream PGEs running for JPSS1 and JPSS2 independently. This is similar to the MODIS Flood Map processing approach. Throughout the day, hourly gridded Flood Map products are created using ESDT of VCDWDG_L3_NRT, and then a daily file is created using ESDT of VCDWD_L3_NRT. Implementing this processing chain also meant adding several PGEs for JPSS2 processing in the NRT stream. Please see attached processing plan which documents the PGEs needed to support Flood Map for VIIRS NRT. The Flood Map PGEs are PGE652N v2.0.0, PGE655N v2.0.0, PGE670N v2.0.0 and PGE559N v2.0.2. |

| Data Granules to be Used for Science Testing | The PGEs needed for the VIIRS Flood Map processing chain were inserted to nrt4 on 2/20/25 for processing to support evaluation of outputs. Since that time, the data has been reviewed by Flood Team and LDOPE, both of whom recommended revisions for metadata and dataset attributes, which were then implemented and the revisions installed for execution on nrt4 for further review. LDOPES and Flood Map reviewed each iteration installed to nrt4 until a final version was reached. The finalized PGE559 2.0.2 went into use on nrt3 and nrt4 starting with data from 4/13/2025. GIBS for VIIRS Flood Map, PGE632 2.0.14, also nrt systems, was put into use on 6/21/25 for the daily, and 7/3/25 for the hourly products. |

These will be used from 4/13/25 onward in NRT. GIBS for VIIRS Flood Map, PGE632 2.0.14, also nrt systems, was put into use on 6/21/25 for the daily, and 7/3/25 for the hourly products. |
