| Abstract | PGE159 6.1.10 Revised PGE159 6.1.10 for C61 using new mask files using ESDTs MCDWD_IRWMB & MCDWD_HRWMB, which have recurring flood information within them. Revised PGE159 perl scripts and output MCFs to set AlgorithmVersion to 6.1.1. |
| Problem Statement | The MASK files used for MODIS C6.1 Flood Map NRT products have been updated to the suite of files that flag recurring flood in the output datasets and corresponding GIBS products. This same set of mask files are what was used for the standard MODIS C6.1 Flood Map products, MCDWD_L3. The only PGE revised to support this is PGE159. The new Mask files use ESDTs of MCDWD_HRWMB and MCDWD_IRWMB. This same set of Mask files was used for full mission generation of MODIS Flood Map, which was documented in PCR 25-009. This PCR strictly addresses the update going into use in NRT. |
| Description of Change | In August 2025, the Flood Map team delivered new sets for Mask files that contained updates to identify recurring floods. The new mask files were setup to use ESDTs MCDWD_HRWMB and MCDWD_IRWMB, to differentiate them from the original sets. A new version of PGE159 was prepared to stage the alternate mask files and to update the AlgorithmVersion to 6.1.1. No other changes were made to the PGE itself. |

| Data Granules to be Used for Science Testing | Several tests were executed on nrt4, in AS91, to verify the updated mask files enabled recurring flood to appear in the Flood Map data products as well as the corresponding GIBS. Test results were reviewed by LDOPE and the science team and signed off on by both. Updates for the products were also coordinated with the GIBS team prior to putting the PGEs into NRT. |

| Effective Date for Implementation of Change | The updated mask files went into use on nrt4 starting with data for 12/9/25, and into nrt3 starting with data for 12/10/25. PGE159 v6.1.10 has all required changes to support using the new mask files and setting the AlgorithmVersion as desired. |
