| Abstract |
PGE04 7.0.4, PGE06 7.0.23, PGE83 7.0.0 Changes for the PGEs indicated above are as follows: - PGE04 v7.0.4 has a revision to the science code that fixes a bug in pixel reordering for the MxD04_3K outputs. In addition, the PGE04_LoaderModule.pl was revised to skip a granule if it has bad geolocation metadata, which is consistent with the PGE04 C6.1 LoaderModule. This version to be used to regenerate the MxD04_3K so far created in C7, which will be supported by a distinct PGE04_3K to be run in a unique Recipe name so it will only generate/archive the MxD04_3K products and not the MxD04_L2 as well.
- PGE06 v7.0.23 had a revision to the PGE06.pl Perl script that was preventing down-propagation of RA data to destriper, which impacted the Aqua datasets generated. This version of PGE06 to be used to reprocess any Aqua C7 PGE06 datasets generated so far as well as for continued reprocessing for Terra or Aqua for any periods not yet processed.
- PGE83 v7.0.0 is the initial version of PGE83 for MODIS C7 reprocessing efforts. It was created starting from PGE83 v6.1.0 and then adding in changes provided by the science team. For MODIS C7 PGE83, the MxD04_L2 input is considered an optional input. This version also adds additional DT/DB layers to the ATML output.

| Data Granules to be Used for Science Testing |
A series of science tests have been carried out to assess and fully confirm all production rule and science changes: (1) PGE04 test performed in AS2032. (2) PGE06 and PGE83 tests used AS2039. The outputs from these tests were fully assessed and approved by LDOPE and the science teams. |
| Justification |
The corrected C7 Level-2 PGE04 and PGE06 are so that outputs generated carry the desired data needed by the science community. The C7 L2 PGE83 Subsetter is to aid the ATMOS team in validating the C7 datasets. |
| Effective Date for Implementation of Change |
PGE04 v7.0.4 and PGE06 v7.0.23 went into use for reprocessing bad products as needed as of 3/25/26, with data periods to be reprocessed spanning 2008-2018. PGE83 v7.0.0 to be used for full mission processing for both Terra and Aqua, available for use starting 3/25/26. |
