| Abstract | To implement PGE03 v6.0.34 that includes product changes to MYD35_L2 with Ref_250m_stats removed and Cloud_Mask_SPI added to reduce space. |
| Problem Statement | Updates for Collection 6 Aqua PGE03 were done to reduce product volume as the Ref_250m_stats SDS made MYD35_L2 very large for product orders. Teams agreed to mitigate the Aqua band registration problem by applying a new Kernel to the 1KM aggregated Band 1&2 radiances. |
| Description of Change | Updated Aqua PGE03 includes product changes to MYD35_L2 with Ref_250m_stats removed and Cloud_Mask_SPI added to reduce space. Science changes include the use of a new aggregation kernel for the 1km aggregated Band 1 and Band 2 radiances. The intermediate radiance file MYD021KM_RA has implemented the new Kernel. |
