Product Description:
The MODIS Near Real Time (NRT) Combined Aqua+Terra Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function and Albedo (BRDF/Albedo) Model Parameters product, MCD43C1N, is a L3 daily 16-day composite global Climate Modeling Grid (CMG) product that provides three model weighting parameters (isotropic, volumetric, and geometric) used for each of the MODIS bands 1 through 7 and the visible (vis), near infrared (nir), and shortwave bands to derive the Albedo and BRDF products (MCD43A3 and MCD43A4). Along with 30 parameter layers, there are 5 ancillary layers. The MODIS BRDF/ALBEDO products have achieved stage 3 validation.
